Meet our Mascot: Rum'un

With the recent launch of our newest recruit, our in-house Devil translator sat down with Rum'un to hit them with the hard-hitting questions.

Rum'un Artboard FINAL

The creation of Rum'un, our cheeky Devil, was a true community effort, representing the spirit and community of Tasmania. Designed by Bryony Anderson from Terrapin, Rum'un took 9 month and over 400 hours to be created and incorporated input from local football teams across the state. Rum'un's unique character emerged from recycled materials, including over 12 bags of donated green Tasmanian school uniforms, old school track pants, and even an old leather jacket. The mascot embodies our state's character with their gravel-scraped knees (honoring Queenstown's famous oval), and the perfect balance of cheekiness and determination.

Rum'un will play a crucial role in our community engagement efforts, boosting participation rates - which have already seen a 40% increase since the launch of the club in 2024 - and representing the Tasmania Football Club at events throughout the state.
