Over the last 24 hours there has been a lot of discussion regarding the Macquarie Point Stadium development.

The timely delivery of the Tasmanian Government's multipurpose stadium at Macquarie Point is essential for Tasmania Football Club, our license to play in the AFL and AFLW is contingent upon it.

Tasmania Football Club supports the Tasmanian Government in determining the most appropriate process to deliver this transformative project.

Tasmania Football Club strongly believe in this project as an economic and social driver for future generations, not only from the significant benefits that football will bring, but through the ongoing multipurpose activation of the site 365 days of the year.

We stand ready to continue to work with all members of Parliament and the community more broadly to provide information and insights from Tasmania Football Club as they consider this generationally significant project.
