People and Culture Key in Devils Executive Appointment

Tasmania Football Club CEO Brendon Gale today announced the appointment of another key member of his Executive Team. Lauren Jauncey will join the Devils in early March to take up the key role of General Manager - Strategy, People & Culture. Lauren is a Tasmanian with an exceptional resume having worked locally, nationally and internationally in Executive people, diversity, strategy and leadership roles. Lauren has also been a Director of Tasmania JackJumpers for the last four seasons.
The opportunity to build an organisation from the ground up is both an exciting and extremely challenging task. Gale has made it clear that he wants to build an extraordinary football Club, and to do that good people must be at the heart of all decision making and planning. The appointment of this Executive role is a cornerstone role to assist in the Club providing the best possible environment to attract and retain the highest quality team to lead the Club to sustained success.
Mr Gale said, "Lauren is an exceptional Tasmanian who has all of the ingredients we are looking for to help build this Club. Not only has Lauren had a distinguished Executive career to date, she is also a Tasmanian who is passionate about creating positive outcomes for Tasmanian people."
He added, "Lauren has a proven track record in areas of great importance to our Club, particularly in the areas of leadership and organisational development. I am thrilled that Lauren will be joining the Club at this time as we embark on the growth journey required to get us to first bounce."
Ms Jauncey said of her appointment, "To join the Tasmania Devils at this stage of the journey is a significant professional opportunity, an opportunity to not only deliver results for the Club, but for all of Tasmania."
