Your Board Update May 2025

Dear Members,

Last week we held our 18th Board meeting in Hobart. As per all of our Board meetings, it was another action-packed agenda. It will come as no surprise that a major focus of the Board continues to be the infrastructure projects that will enable us.

We have been working productively with the State Government on the progress of our Training and Administration facility and are confident in the momentum of that project. We look forward to being in a position to share more information on that as we get a little more advanced, but I am pleased to share that everything is moving along positively, and all partners are working cooperatively on the project.

Of course, the other major project that is at the forefront of our thinking is the stadium development. We have been asked by many of our members for some facts and messages on this development. We have pulled together some information for those that would like it, you can find it here, we would encourage you to take a read and share with those in your network.

We cannot understate the importance of this project for your Club, and we welcome your ongoing support and advocacy as we continue to march forward together.

Brendon also presented to the Board our Build Chapter Business Plan, this new business plan signals a significant step for the Club as we have now officially moved past the Establishment Phase and our next business plan reflects that. Momentum, Members and Milestones are the focus areas as we continue to build the Club toward first bounce.

You will have noticed over the last few weeks we have made several staff appointments. Brendon talked the Board through our workforce design and expansion plans as we set out to deliver on this business plan and focus on strategy development later this year. As a Board we are thrilled with the calibre of the team that Brendon is building, it is particularly exciting to start seeing key football appointments entering the business.
